The technologies that make PRISM possible
PRISM is underpinned by multiple technologies that were literally decades in the making. From highly innovative chemistry, through the development and testing of new sensor technologies, next generation satellite monitoring and atmospheric modelling and novel algorithm design and optimisation, PRISM relies on significant advances across multiple fields.
However, this is just the beginning. Our team is constantly working to drive improvements in these core technologies, expand our global field testing, work with existing and new industry partners and find amazing talent from every corner of the planet to help us to continuously improve PRISM for all growers, everywhere.
State-of-the-art chemistry
We developed PRISM to help every grower on the planet better manage their MRL risks. To make this possible, PRISMs algorithm needs to take into account your specific pesticide product, the crop it's being used on, and the almost infinitely varied, and ever-changing conditions your crop experiences following the application of your vital pesticide product. PRISM rapidly analyses this data from the moment you apply your pesticide to the moment your crop meets its MRL. To make all of this possible for the industry we first had to develop, and rigorously test, entirely new chemistry, both in our labs and at field sites all around the world.
Sensors, reimagined for horticulture
PRISM generates the most accurate models of pesticide breakdown in protected cropping in existence, using data from multiple sources. But, in the future, we think we can add an additional level of accuracy to PRISM for growers wanting to locate one of our sensors within their crop. We're engineering the sensor to provide data from within the crop to PRISM on a minute-by-minute basis and make it available to customers starting in early 2028. The PRISM sensor will work seamlessly with the PRISM App, delivering its data through a cellular network, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection.
3rd generation satellite imaging & atmospheric modelling
When you start the PRISM App it immediately asks you a few questions about the project you want to run. For PRISM a project simply refers to an individual pesticide model breakdown model PRISM is running for you, at a specific part of your farm, on a specific crop.
